Richard Simis

Founder and President of Simac Construction, a national general contractor and development firm. Richard‘s career began in single family “custom homes” and multi-family residential construction, however his success in Retail Construction for national multi-unit retailers led him to expand Simac across the country.

Role: President and CEO – Richard brings three decades of successful leadership to our team with nearly one billion in construction completed by his companies. His design analysis, construction oversight, contract negotiation and project management equal on-time and on-budget completions.

Rudy medina

Founder and Former President of Del Mar Heritage Development and Construction. From 1996 to 2006, Rudy lead the acquisition and development of commercial urban in-fill real estate opportunities at Del Mar Heritage. Mr. Medina has been involved in the acquisition and development of over 200 million dollars of commercial and residential real estate in San Diego County with a focus on multi-family projects.

Role: Development Advisor – Rudy’s unparalleled enthusiasm and determination is what creates the value in acquisitions and marketing of our unique product. Mr. Medina also is integral in the cutting edge design application that focuses on contemporary versions of timeless Craftsman, Spanish and Mid-Century architecture.

Andrew Luce

Andrew joined the Next Space Development team in 2016 after 30 successful years on the commercial brokerage side of the business.

While specializing in multi-family, infill residential development, and investment sales – Andrew has been involved in over $435 million of total consideration of transactions spanning four states and Southern California.

Andrew’s role at Next Space Development is assisting in the acquisitions and depositions of all properties. In addition, he interacts with the brokerage and lending community on the various Next Space Development projects.

Matthew Arsena

Matthew’s career began in the Healthcare industry focused in Accounting and Business Administration, leading him into the Retail Development and Operations for a Fortune 500 development and property management company in Cleveland Ohio. Most recently Matthew performed multiple roles as a Controller/Cash Manager for a Multi-Family Developer overseeing the accounting and management for 2800 units throughout the Greater San Diego Area.

Role: Controller/CFO and Investor Relations Coordinator-Matthew brings three decades of successful leadership to our team with experience and expertise in various accounting management platforms.
