Richard was Founder and President of Simac Construction, a national general contractor and development firm, He began his career in single-family “custom homes” and multi-family residential construction. His success in retail construction for national multi-unit retailers led him to expand Simac across the country.
Richard brings three decades of successful leadership to Next Space Development’s team, with nearly $1 billion in construction completed by his companies. His design analysis, construction oversight, contract negotiation and project management equal on-time and on-budget completions.

Rudy was Founder and President of Del Mar Heritage Development and Construction from 1996 to 2006, where he led the acquisition and development of commercial urban infill real estate opportunities. He has been involved in the acquisition and development of over 200 million dollar’s worth of commercial and residential real estate in San Diego County, with a focus on multi-family projects.

Rudy is passionate about cutting edge design applications that focus on contemporary versions of timeless Craftsman, Spanish and Mid-Century architecture.
